Xnviewmp 0.82 rapidshare3/28/2023 I then batch renamed my tens of thousands of existing photos, across hundreds of directories, to match my new naming convention in a matter of minutes. One thing I did some years ago, was change the naming convention I use for my photo files to include the camera brand, model, and a couple of other things extracted from the EXIF, using Downloader Pro. To be honest, I don't know - I've never tried tagging using IrfanView. I don't think Irfanview supports writing tags to RAW? There is only a plugin for jpg? I just want to be able to easily keyword tag RAW photos on my low end Windows Tablets. I've tried those, and everything similar, I believe, and IrfanView always wins. I tried FastStone and really couldn't see any advantages over Irfanview, but I have never tried XNview, MP or otherwise. Perhaps, but I now have all that I need, and with IrfanView also under active development/improvement, and with the other (paid & free) programs I use, I am no longer looking for replacements. Of coarse, being under active development, 0.82 was released yesterday, it might have changed since you last looked at it? It seems the batch processing in XNViewMP covers all the editing that the program can do, so I'm wondering where it fails for you? Irfanview seems more limited in what it can do in batch in comparison to me. It will also do pretty much any type of batch I currently want to do. What are you doing as a batch process in Irfanview? Especially useful to me, is its powerful batch processing abilities. I've used it for years and find it to be the best of class. After that I can download and install the non freeware that I've paid for and install their licenses.ĭo you use XNViewMP as an image viewer? I don't see Irfanview in your list.Ī glaring omission, IMHO. Glary Utilities, Notepad++, Odrive, Agent Ransack, Exiftool, Exiftool GUI, and XNViewMP are next. First freeware I install is Firefox and then some extensions.
